Missing You!
Hi everyone. I attended two conferences last week. One was for work and the other was a weight loss siminar in Greely, Colorado. It was a 450 mile trip one way, but so worth it. I live in such a rural area and don't have a support group except for you all. I learned alot about vitamin defiecency on down the road, reinforcement on how much we need our protein,(most of the professionals there recommend 100 to 125 grams every day), eye problems from a vitamin A defiecency, exercise, and plastic surgery. I've read all the posts from last week and I just want to say -- weigh to lose! You are all doing so great. I go for my 3 month appointment on Wendesday and I hope to be down 50lbs. As I've said before I did not have as far to go as some of you and I'm trying to get into the 150's. I had a wow moment when I bought a size 10 capris. When I am naked I just see all the fat and skin, so it is hard to comprehend that I am in a more normal size. I was wearing a womans size 18W and 2-3X tops. I guess the point I'm trying to make is look at where you have from the pounds, inches, and size of clothing and it is easier to see the whole picture and not just the weight loss. I'm so proud of you all! Keep up the good work! Sue
Hi Sue! Congrats on the size 10s! That's wonderful!!! I really wanted to attend the OH event in Virginia in October. Darned if my mom didn't get Phantom of the Opera tix on Broadway for that very day. Argh!!! I've done HORRIBLE with protein and stuff lately. Things are just way too busy and stressful here and I don't remember until I wake up from a dead sleep and think "CRAP!!! I missed my ________!" I try and try to get back on track and gently "remind" my family that I could have some serious problems down the road. But nothing ever changes.
Keep up the great work you're doing!!!
