So some of us could use some menu ideas... So share your favorite menus or just tell us whatcha ate What did you eat today?? I'll tell ya what I ate yesterday... Breakfast: cheerios and peaches (a staple for me...but I need some protein in my life in the morning...maybe yougurt? not sure) Lunch: Roasted Chicken Breast and tomatoes and cucumbers with a little balsamic vinegar Dinner: Deli Turkey and cheese rolled up, broccoli salad (raw broccoli with cheese) Still not sure if I'm eating enough or too much at one sitting. My mom got me a digital kitchen scale so I'll get it this weekend. That should help!

Yesterday was a bad example for me as all my workdays are. That is why I changed my schedule to not have two days in a row so I can play catch up on my off days. For instance I don't have the time to eat in the am before I leave so I take hte following shake for breakfast. I make this in 4oz increments and it is 20 gms of protien. I put 4oz skim milk (or there is a Mootopia milk that will add 4 more grms), 1/2 scoop whey protein vanilla, half pack sugar free instant breakfast, 1/2 cup ice and 1/2 banana. not bad for 20oz protien in just 4 oz......has become a staple of mine to get in the protein. I also found there is a special K protein cereal so I eat that as a cereal and add a few slices banana for flavor. I will post later what I eat today as I promise to do better. So far today I am finishing an achieve one mocah java (9.5 oz and 20gms protien) a new addiction for me LOL. Then it will be 8oz of water and then I will have egg beaters and cheese. I better get off here and start drinking! Donna

Ok, well today did not get better and I have to work tomorrow so I was suppose to do good. I had chicken soup at lunch and low on protein so for dinner I will make a shake. I got some powdered peanut butter today I am going to put in it to change the taste and add protein. I heard about it at a support group. I will let you know if it is any good. But basically it is ground peanuts you can mix with water to make Peanut butter or you can add to your shakes like it is. 4gms of protein per tbls powder and 75% less fat than regular PB. donna

I don't post a whole lot, but I do lurk everyday. Right now my weight is up and down between 201 and 204. I'm not sure if I'm eating too much or not enough or what. I work out almost every night I walk between 1 and 2 miles on the treadmill and then do stomach, arm and leg exercises. My whole workout takes about 1 hour. I don't go to the gym on Fri. and Sats. Yesterday: Breakfast: 1 Colby/Jack cheese stick, 2 dill sandwich slices and 4 grape tomatoes Lunch: 2 miniture Chicken Cordon Blu (120 cals.) Snack: 1 Colby/Jack cheese stick, 1 dill sandwich slice and 5 Toasteds crackers Supper: 1/2 cup of spagetti with meat sauce Thanks, Kim

B - 1/2 english muffin, 1 oz swiss cheese S - 1/2 protein bar L - 2 turkey/cheese roll ups (2 oz turkey, 1 oz cheese total); 1/2 c. lettuce w/1 tbs dressing. S - cheese stick, 1/2 banana D - 1 c. veggie soup, 1 oz cheddar cheese S - 1 c. milk

I had a hungry day today, could be stress. B - 1 cup of cherries Snack - 1/3 of a slice thin crust vegetarian pizza L - 1/2 a cup of baby spinach leaves, 3 cherry tomatoes, 3/4 of a baby cucumber, 1.5oz feta cheese, sugar-free dijon dressing. Snack - Sugar-free pudding S - 1/3 cup South Beach Diet cereal, 1/2 cup of 1% milk I'm trying to add more veggies/fruits in my diet, protein protein protein is great, but I think my body needs a change.

B - 1/3 c Egg Beaters w/ 1oz. 2% shredded cheese S - Triple, Venti, nf, sf, hazelnut latte S - after workout.....Pure Protein CC bar L - 2 oz. deli sliced chicken breast (Boar's Head Aroastica) wrapped around Frigo Light String Cheese with tspn mayo S - 1/2 c Whole Wheat Flax Seed and Soy Hot Cereal (after second workout) D - 1/3 c Wendy's chili with 1 oz. shredded 2% sharp cheddar (I had a craving!!!) and a Dannon Carb and Sugar control yogurt S - NSA Fudgesicle and 1/4 c Whole Grain Goldfish

I'm a bad eater...I hate food =( I'll fess up though................. B-100 calorie pack cheetos astroids S-6oz weigh****chers key lime pie yogurt L-1 1/2 oz new york strip steak w/ a few bites of baked potato S-water? D-crystal light? I do really really bad when I'm at work............I hate working 12 hour NIGHT shifts...it's not easy to eat. My body doesn't NORMALLY want to eat---let alone eat in the middle of the dang night. I'm surprised I keep losing weight. *shrugs* Oh well......try, try again.

TODAY B - half of a chicken & cheese quesadillo L - 2/3 of a 3" kids Subway tuna on wheat S - handful of potato chips (I know I'm bad!) D - 3 oz grilled pork chop, small serving of hash browns, couple bites of steamed broccoli YESTERDAY B - 8 whole wheat crackers with 2 slices of Monterrey Jack/Colby cheese (10 g protein) L - 3 oz fried tenderized pork steak, a couple bites of mashed potatoes & gravy S - watermelon D - half of a chicken & cheese quesadillo, a few bites each of the rice and beans
