My latest purchase

A BIKE! I've started running on the treadmill a bit, walking the dog, swimming, etc, but I've really wanted to bike around lately. I haven't owned a bike in years because I was always so embaressed of what people would think...fat lady on a tiny bike type thing. I've chosen the model, and I'm picking it up after work. I got a great deal on it too, $149.99 from $299.99!

That's so great Chantal. I have to admit my big butt hanging out for all to see makes me squirm but I got a bike for my Bday in May. I went out and rode for an hour and a half on Saturday. I find once I get out there it's not so bad and I can just relax into it. Let us know what model you got. Patti

I'm trying to get my chicken kid to learn to ride hers. I bought a bike last year at Walmart. I'm cheap. I also bought what I call the "big butt seat" for it. It's really comfy. LOL She will not learn to ride that thing. She broke her wrist a couple summers ago playing and she's scared to death it'll happen again. I keep trying to talk her into it because I don't want to ride alone. Pooh on her. I might drag it out tomorrow and see what I can do. * Cyndi *

Good for you!! It's too funny you mention bikes. I just went and checked the barn to see what condition mine was in. I haven't ridden it in a couple years. I need to take it and get two new tires. Anyway, you got a great deal. Happy Biking!! ~~Betsy
