I got sick last night for the first time in weeks!
I'm assuming it was the beef hamburger patties we had. They were very moist, but just did not go down well. I had maybe 1/3 of a regular sized patty. I didn't get the pain so much, it was mostly nasty foamies...and then it came up more violently than ever.
Weird, that hasn't happened in ages it seems. Hope it doesn't keep up. Today for lunch I had a grilled chicken breast, I got foamies after the first couple of bites. Let them subside, and it went fine after that. Strange
I have finally figured out why I am getting foamies and vomitting.....it's eating to fast!! And yes, it's a very hard habit to break!! The sad thing is that I don't realize it till its to late. Sooooo...there goes that meal....BUT...if i let my stomach settle down and then and I hate doiing this, if i eat with my fingers and NIBBLE food, it all goes down fine. So now I am getting the protein i am supposed to!!
As to the hamburger, I know I have to be very careful with it and usually only do hamburger in something. I have had a patty once, but had ketchup with it.....and only small small bites.
I can't each much chicken....it doesn't like me that much yet, although trying a roasted chicken for dinner tonight.

You know when I was eating too fast, I was completely aware of it! I would be eating and it's as if part of me was saying "eat eat eat" and the other part of me was telling me to slow down or else! Of course I always ended up throwing up.
This is different though...I haven't been eating too fast at all, it's just the first couple of bites every time.
Chicken is probably the only meat I can really eat, but I'm getting so sick of it!
i've done OK with beef... especially ground beef that after i cook it, i boil it, then season it. you cant really do that with burgers though. i got that suggestion from somewhere on this site. chicken doesn't like me either, unless it's like chicken salad. i had some roasted chicken and that has been the only time i have thrown up, but i did eat too fast too, so i will try chicken again sometime.
That is the way it is when I eat ANYTHING anymore that is not a liquids... I can outually feel and hear the foaming and it is on the first bite. If I pu**** with two then I get pain! Not sure what is up with that. I will say if I have soup does not happen. Might try a few sips of broth before a meal.
An update....I ate the chicken tonight, BUT i had tiny tiny bites and it was soaking in the juices from the chicken....i skimmed off all of the grease. What got me at the end was I took the last couple of bites to fast and ended up throwing those up cause there was an air pocket.
As to the burgers.......who knows, like they say, everyone is different and their food tolerances are as well. Its frustrating when something you really enjoyed the taste of before doesn't taste near as good and ends up coming back up!! I know I am tolerating fish and seafood pretty well, but that gets expensive!!...oh well...LOL I only eat a little!!!
Well good luck to you all on your food struggles too, it's not fun, but the loss of weight is definetly well worth it!!! Even if I throw it up, I am NOT hungry after wards....LOL

wow! everybody can throw up but me! lol i'll tell you there are times that i wish i could throw up but i just don't have that gag reflex or something...i can count on one hand how many times i've puked in my life and it was usually after drinking too much...lol i get the foamies from time to time but never barf! am i a freak? lol
