BACK IN THE HOSPITAL
HELLO EVERYONE,
I HAVE BEEN DOING REALLY GOOD AND BAM... IT HITS... I HAD TO GO BY AMBULANCE SAT MORNING 4:30AM TO THE HOSPITAL. ALL WEEK I WAS NOT FEELING GOOD AND STARTED HAVING DIZZY SPELLS WHICH WAS GETTING WORSE AND MORE OFTEN. SO THAT MORNING I HAD ONE REALLY BAD THAT WOULDNT GO AWAY, PUT ME INTO A PANIC ATTACK. my WORLD WAS SPINNING, AS I COULDNT EVEN GET OUT OF BED. I KNEW SOMETHING WAS GOING ON AND I PLANNED TO SEE MY DR ON MONDAY. ANYWAYS, I WAS VERY dehydrated. , MY BLOOD PRESSURE WAS VERY LOW (I HAVE NEVER HAD BLOOD PREASURE ISSUES) HEART RATE LOW, MY POTASSIUM LOW AND MY THYROID LOW. THEY GAVE ME MEDS AND 4 BAGS OF LIQUIDS. I WAS ABLE TO GO HOME ABOUT 10:30AM SAT. I WORK OUT EVERY DAY AND I WAS NOT GETTING ENOUGH LIQUIDS, WHICH I DRINK ALL THE TIME. NOT ENOUGH THOUGH. SO WITH EVER THING COMBINED IT TOOK ME DOWN. HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THINGS LIKE THESE? I HOPE TO BE ON THE ROAD AGAIN VERY SOON.
THANKS TINA
Tina,
I have experienced that but it wasnt over the same things as you..however, I did and still have dizziness sometimes so severe I cant get out of bed. It is such a hard thing to go through and it seems that noone wants to take it serious. I started months ago doing that and had to miss work and school...after several ER visits and tests I was told that I had benign vertigo..I am now learning how to live with it the best I can, they tell me it will go away but hasnt yet and its been months now, however it sounds as if maybe you will be okay if you take good care of yourself and eat and drink as you should. I just had lapband done and for a while I didnt even want to eat at all, then a friend of mine talked to me (she has had it too and so has a friend of hers) and anyhow she pointed out how bad her friend looked even tho' she was skinny now, my point is...you can be skinny and still look bad, you do have to keep yourself nourished and take care of yourself, I do hope you dont get offended by me saying that but I mean it in a good way, just take care of yourself, and keep your self hydrated and nourished it is very important. Take care and hope you recover soon.

Hey Tina,
I hear ya girl. I love being down 60 lbs in 2 months but not excited about how I've been feeling. I was admitted to the hospital for kidney stones and severe dehydration last week. I have 18 kidney stones in all. I was actually praying to die in the hospital. I am still dizzy on a daily basis, fatigued to no end, and struggling to eat or drink anything. I am sometimes wondering what in the hell I did to myself. I'm hoping things shape up soon. My work has been ridiculous with understanding and so forth. My supervisor actually called me a liar about the kidney stones. She didn't think you could be hospitalized for it...like being hooked up to IV's, ******g blood, and bawling because you're birthing 18 babies that are tearing you up inside is much more appealing than working!?! Frustrating. I hope all goes better and you are feeling better soon!
