BREAKFAST
One sugar free cookie,
one thin slice of deli roast beef...
LUNCH
one small beef rib
a bite of potato salad
SNACKING
about 6-7 slices of cucumbers in vinegar not all at once but all through the day
SUPPER
a beef jerky stick...
One bean LOL I tried it when I was feeding my baby LOL@ONE!
Oh yeah I ate a pork rib too and spit it out and I took a bite of my sons barbecue sandwich and spit that out too I didnt like the way it felt in my mouth.. so thats what I have done today....

I find myself going back and forth to the fridge looking....... I bought some mint chocolate sugar free cookies------dont know why I did that.....I think i will get my kids to eat them. I just feel like I am eating to muchhhhh maybe because I have been doing alot of sampling the last two days since I cooked a huge amount of food on the 4th. By the time I finished cooking yesterday I was full and didnt eat supper ( from tasting everything I made. Anyways I know this is a BAD habit to get into... Also maybe I feel like I am eating too much because I dont really have a meal I have just been eating a little here and a little there. So basically I have been eating ALL day. Which I know is BAD too. I will just try harder to do better tomorrow. Anyways any input will be great !!!!! Thanks everyone. Carol
I found SF m&m-type candies and I had to throw them out...they weren't horrible for me, but we shouldn't be eating that kind of crap
Honestly, you don't seem to be getting enough protein. Maybe try signing up on fitday, or sparkpeople and try logging a couple of days and see how much of everything you're getting? It can be a real pain...but you definitely learn a lot. Also, grazing is really bad. I'm totally guilty of it, but we really need to be eating the servings our surgeons recommend. Mine wants 3 meals and 3 snacks, but they're all different. Grazing all day may not seem to be bad right now, but in a couple of years when we'll be more or less back to 'normal' it can become a major problem.
And last but not least...ONE BEAN?
I don't think you're eating like a pig at all. Now that doens't mean I think you're doing GREAT and eating everything you should be..........but we all screw up here and there. I screw up on a daily basis---mostly because sometimes I chose not to eat at all. =( I don't like food...lol. Cucumbers and vinegar sound super good to me right now. As for the rest of it...I think you know what you need to do...and that's to sit down and eat an actual meal or snack..........and not graze all day. I've found myself doing that a time or two---and I actually feel the same way that you do. You feel like you've done nothing but eat all day...when in fact, you probably haven't eaten enough since you've just been sampling. I agree with Chantal--it doens't sound like you've gotten enough protein at all. I have been doing a horrible job with protein lately. Tonight at work I've eaten 2 chicken nuggets....a south beach bar...and a lite string cheese. Its already 5:16 a.m.....so I have done horrible. Booo!!! Oh well...I'll try harder tomorrow.

Thanks for your replies----- I am gonna to set meal times for me----My doctor says 3 meals a day no snacks and no protein shakes or bars. I bought some protein powder from walmart anyways because I feel like I dont get enough protein.....But the problem is I am getting to the point where I cannot drink MILK... I tried some orange juice today even tho it has sugar I figured it was natural and would be okay since I can ea****ermelon, peaches, cherries and plums with no problem......BUT boy was I wrong!!!!!!!!!!I drank the OJ around 1 pm and its 9pm now and my stomach is still queasy. So any suggestions with the protein powder???? I got vanilla...I know I havent eaten enough today because I have felt sick most of the day from the OJ.. I guesss this is just a learning experience for us all and I definately learned somehing today___LOL----NO OJ FOR A LONG WHILE!!!!!!(for me atleast). Are you serious???? I'm sorry. I had to laugh. Eating like a pig? Maybe a newborn, miniature pig. LOL. Think about what you USED to consume in a day and I'm sure that in comparison, you'll understand why I think it's so funny.
Maybe it FEELS like you're eating a lot because it's not scheduled or planned. I'm a fanatic about planning. I have my menus written out a week in advance. I'm also very grateful that my surgeon recommends 6 small meals a day. That keeps me satisfied, even when a "meal" is a cup of milk or a slice of cheese.
I liked the other poster's idea of logging your intake on fitday to see what you're actually consuming in calories and protein. It'll be an eye opener, I'm sure.
