ok i'm 7 weeks post op and some days i just feel so queasy (especially in the morning) that i have to force myself just to get some water down! i don't throw up or get the foamies or anything if i do eat or drink (unless it's too quickly) just feel really queased and don't feel like putting anything in my pouch...is this normal?

I do get a bit queasy in the morning. I have to eat as soon as I wake up, I've found that that helps quite a bit. I also can't drink any water until a couple of hours after I have breakfast. Hope that helps!

I'm haveing the same problem! My doctor said It could last about 3 months Oh my goodness I hope not I'm haveing problems with protien shakes also. Well good luck hope the queasy stage passes.

I have had the same problem..wake up queasy. What helps me is eating something like Cream of Wheat when i wake up..it settles my stomach. (I CANNOT drin****il i get my stomach settled) Suzanne (in Spokane)

cream of wheat??!?!?! ewwwwww! lol then i would really hurl...(i'm a texture girl) a few pretzels seem to help a little...

I am oposite of the others....I have to dirnk water (only room temp) first for awhile before I can even think about food or even my protein shake.

I'm always queasy! SF peppermints usually knock it right out.
