I truly can't believe it has been 8 weeks since I have had my surgery. I have lost 49 pounds and feel wonderful. I have lost over 30 inches. People are telling me I look 15 years younger. I feel younger too. I do more things (that is why I'm not on the board as much) I am so thankful for this surgery and the tool that it has given me. Goals that I have now accomplished: Cross my legs Can "officially" ride the Orange Stinger at California Adventure (they have a weight limit of 200 pounds) Wear non plus size clothes Run up my stairs without getting out of breath My hubby and I are going on a cruise just the two of us in September. I can't wait to go shopping for it!! I'm going to get some sexy lingerie!! Hugs, Heather

Heather, I'm only one week out, but wanted to congratulate you on your success. You've done very well and are an inspiration to those of us that are behind you. I, too, am hoping to go on a cruise this Fall but am a little intimidated about traveling post-surgery. Are you still doing any protein shakes, etc. - or are you getting your protein from food. What are you planning on doing for the cruise? I still haven't been able to get my head around what life will be like post-surgery (but maybe that is because I am still in the liquid part of the diet). Thanks, Eileen
