Ok I have to say that I HATE my calcium I really really really really can't stand it. It makes me sick to see it, smell it and let alone taste it. I have cut it into 4ths because taking the whole thing at once is just way more then I can handle its so bad. It is orange flavor chalky and just down right nasty. What are you guys taking? Thanks for your help, Rebecca

I start my calcium tomorrow (had my 1 month post op check today and my surgeon has us start after a month) so I can't tell you if I like it or not yet but Viactiv Chews were recommended to me. They come in a couple different flavors like chocolate chews and I think caramel as well. I also have some Nature Made brand chewable calcium that has 3 flavors in the bottle - cherry, orange and mixed berry. Again, I haven't tried those yet but they smell good. lol Good luck! Michelle

Ew I kind of hate mine too But then I found the Lemon flavor and it was way better. I use Citrical Chews. I can only find them online, though- www.americanrx.com. The choclate is kinda gross, but the lemon is pretty good. Not something you would want to eat like candy, but doesn't make me gag either. And these days, that is a good sign! Good Luck!! Kathy

I ordered the Bariatric Advantage vitamins, Iron and calcium (and B12 but I am not to start that until week 9). They are actaully pretty good. The Calcium are lozenges and I go tthe mint ones so far. The come in mint, chocolate and cinnamon I think. These vitamins compare to the prices I paid at GNC for liquid which I HATED. Also they come designed for each type of surgery. www.bariatricadvantage.com Donna

I'm taking Citrical Creamy Bites. They come in Lemon and Chocolate (maybe one other flavor - I can't remember - I only bought lemon and chocolate.) I like them a lot! They kind of remind me of petits fours. Maybe that's a reach, but since I can't eat real petits fours, I gotta pretend! :D

I take the walmart brand of Calcium...Citrate + D, and have been since the week after surgery. My nut. said that if I did not have any issues swallowing the pills then to do it, and not worry about it. Good luck finding something you can tolerate. Gayle

My doctor prescribed the pills too which I never even took because the size of them scared the crap out of me! I asked to switch and he said it was fine...so I've been taking the caltrate chocolate chewables and they're great. The only complaint I have is that they make my mouth all nasty afterwards.

I take Caltrate 600 mg + D + Minerals. Multiflavor chewables, not too bad. I was using Viactive Chewables but they have too many grams of sugar. Jan
