Anyone eating less than they did?
I guess the nerves in my pouch have healed up because I'm definitely eating less than I was a week ago even. I feel so full so fast, I guess before I just stopped eating when I got the hiccups, or started feeling nauseous.
I also find that I get hungry now. I guess it depends on the day. We went out for Father's Day this weekend and I had a bit of chicken, not too much, maybe 2-3oz. I took it home and by 9-10pm I was hungry. Not munchie-bored hungry...but actually hungry. So I had a bit more chicken. I had never had that happen before.
7 weeks post-op today. CRAZY! Where has the time gone? I forgot to weigh-in this morning...how's that for not being obsessed?
actually it's been 5 weeks for me and i'm eating a little more! i'm up to like a half cup of food now and i'm starting to eat more and more normal things...screw the moosh! i do get hiccups alot more now...that's a sign of being full? WOW! i'm in trouble then...lol i've found that chicken makes me queased...small amounts of ground beef seem to be fine for me which is weird....so far so good though....
I'm 4 weeks and 3 days out now..........I've been feeling full for a while though. And I also get hungry if it's been more than about 3-4 hours since I've eaten. It's definitely not head hunger--cuz when it hits me I'm like DANGIT!!!! Now I have to eat AGAIN. I've been feeling like a pressure in my lower chest when I'm full--and I try to stop immediately. If I don't...or if I eat too fast it will come back up........which is NOT pleasant. I started eating chicken yesterday--hopefully I don't get chewed out for it at my post-op appt tomorrow a.m. Oh well. =(

I am the same - in fact today has been my worst day yet - threw up a lot, still feel ill... mind you, I may not have chewed my veggie soup as well as I should have so I may have brought this on myself... but I do find I eat less but a bit more frequently then I did 3-4 weeks ago even. Still prefer softs or liquids!
I hit 4 weeks out on Friday. I still do better with pudding than anything else. I have to force myself to eat but when I'm hungry.....my tummy sure tells me so and loudly too. lol I can get in 2 oz of pudding but I made some chicken salad last night. I hardly got 1 oz in let alone 2 oz. Hubby went to the store to see if there's anything else I can try. He's on the lookout for the pretzels in another post. lol I miss crunching. I did fine with the half of a beef meatball the other day. Chicken works okay too. I'm just FULL all the time.
