Way to go Erin! I've noticed the sweating thing too..it was getting to be such a pain in the ass. Hang in there on the eating, I've been getting sick more also, but only when I'm not careful with chewing and swallowing. It's definitely a learning curve

Hey gal, I think one reason why the posts have slowed down here is that most people thought when May was over we wouldn't still have this board.............. I checked in and thought evertyone had deserted it until today. I am so glad to see all the May babies doing so great!! I am 22 lbs down and can eat anything.......just not much. I usually eat a protein shake for Brkfst.........salad with protein for lunch and if I make too big a one, I fini**** for dinner!! I am making great food choices, no sugars....watching my carbs and making sure I get that protein!! I just gotta make myself get into the regular walking....... Best to all of you, Karen

I'm the only one blogging? Aw shucks! Well, if you haven't read the blog, I had a few problems but am much better now. My heart rate and blood pressure bottomed out and we are still adjusting my meds. In fact, I go to the doctor tomorrow. But other than that I'm doing well with my foods. I started on mushy foods yesterday and it was so good to get something different. Unfortunately, most of the new stuff doesn't add much protein. Supplementing foods with protein is not necessarily a great option either. It's tough to add a significant amount of protein powder to 2 oz of something. So I'm still on shakes. I think I will be on shakes or protein bars for life. But I *like* the bars so it's all good. -- T.Rob

Doh! Blogs, oh yeah, i totally forgot about chekcing your page! I'm glad things are going better for you now tho. I'm on the four weeks of pureed and am finding that chick breasts in the crock pot with some pizza sauce and a little lo fat cheese is awesome! And two oz gives me 16 g of protein. I am actually getting most of my protein from foods now, but I've always been a protein-a-holic so it's all good by me. Hang in there!

Hi Rebecca and Everyone: Hope you have a great time in Vegas. I am leaving for disney on June 23rd. I know that I am not eating enough and I am having a hard time getting all the protein and fluids in. I have been really trying and get a little more in each day. I don't feel hungry anymore and have to remember to eat....what a big difference from pre-op. Rebecca I feel the same way you do...hopefully it will get better. I am just so happy that my clothes are getting very baggy. I am so glad to hear that everyone is doing good. Kelly
