Eating out Question

I am a little over 4 weeks out, and according to my Nutrition guidelines in the paperwork I got from the hospital, I can start having fish and seafood, thinly sliced deli meats, crisp toast and crackers, well cooked pasta etc. My family is getting Applebees for dinner, there is really not much I can have. They have a new salad with shrimp, hardboiled egg, avocado etc. I know I cannot have the lettuce, but you think it'd be ok if I just picked out the stuff I can have and not use the dressing? Is it ok to eat olives? Kali

Applebees has that good steak and shrimp skewers on the Weigh****chers menu. I'm sure you could ask for two shrimp skewers instead of one of each. It comes on a very small bed of rice and well cooked veggies too. Just part of the shrimp alone will fill you up and you'll have leftovers. Michelle

I am 4 weeks out as well. I went to Applebees yesterday and had the WW- tilapia with potatoes instead of rice and broc.. Only 330 calorie. and I think 11 grams of protein I ate only half but it was nice to eat out with friends.
