AM HOME FROM SECOND SURGERY

Hi everyone. It is so nice to read everyones post and see how great you all are doing keep up the great work! my RNY surgery was May 9th. I was doing really great for the first two weeks. Then I started having nauseating pain every time I even tried to sip water. I knew something wasnt right and also I was getting dehydrated. So I went to the hospital Monday night May 28th and was admitted. They took test and Friday morning, June 1st, my galbladder came out. I was able to come home sat 06/02. That was a long week. However the good news I was able to have my same surgeon who did my RNY do my galbladder surgery. This second surgery has taken alot out of me. But I know I will get back on my feet soon. I love all the updates..Keep them coming. They are very encouraging.. Best wishes tina

Glad to see you are home and doing weel! Two surgeries that close together would take a lot out of you! Just take is slow and easy! so did they start you back on liquids? Donna

Tina, Hugs, sounds like you have been though a lot. I'm happy to hear your doing better and your able to get your fluids down. It must have been nice to have your same surgeon I know I would want that too. Take your time getting back on your feet. You have just had 2 surgeries in a row and your body is probable not a happy camper right now. Hugs Rebecca

Hi Darlin' Sorry to hear that you were having problems.................. just a li'l delay. Take it easy and get lots of rest................ I had my gbladder out , open surgery , 20 yrs ago and it took a lot outta me then!! So surgery upon surgery.................. you got a right to be pooped out about.................... Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a great recovery........... Karen
