My good friend had her Lap RNY this afternoon. She was in recovery still around 6pm. Then her mom called me around 9 to say she was doing well in her room. Unfortunately, her hubbie fell off their garage roof last night & cracked his pelvis! He's in hospital in Jamestown, NY while she's @ Sister's Hospital in Buffalo. He's doing okay, too, but man, what rotten luck. They have 3 kids ages 11, 9, & 6. Not sure, but I'd bet Grandma will have her hands full for a while.

Yikes! That is a lot of recovering! Sounds like Grandma may need some Hope they are doing better soon! Kathy

Yes, really rotten luck! I checked in on her this a.m. and she's doing okay. Quite sore & tired. My hubby is going to hospital when he gets home to check on Rhonda's hubbie. Where would we be w/out our grannies? Mine pretty much raised me & my 3 siblings!
