Home never semed so good...
Hi April,
It's always good to be home and in your own cozy bed. I felt sore and achey at first too. It's been three weeks for me and I feel good but by 3 pm I start to drag and when I get home from work I have to lay down and rest my back. Walk when you can but don't feel guilty for resting too. That's important to rest because your body needs to mend.
Welcome to the Loser's side of the fence.
Hugs,
Esther
Congradulations and welcome to the losers side. I'm sure your feeling very sore the last couple of days. I remember when I had it done in November 2006 I woke up from surgery and said "Oh what did I do to myself! Am I nuts well its too late" I was thinking all of this crazy stuff. Then the burning pain arrived. It was awful but it lasted about 2 weeks then things got much better. The liquid diet is hard too. I learned the hard way that you have to stay on the liquids w/ no exceptions. I figured hey what could one small small piece of turkey do to you right? Wrong I paid big time for 12 hours. Just though you'd like to know my first few weeks.
