Top ten states with greatest obesity!!

In Texas, 64% of adults are overweight or obese and that's expected to increase to 75% by 2040. But that does not place Texas in the number one position for obesity, in fact Texas only ranks a modest 6th. The following are the top ten states in the US for obesity: 10 top candidate states for weight loss surgery (Measured in percentage of adult population that is obsese) Mississippi - 28.1% Alabama - 27.7% - accelerating the fastest West Virginia - 27.6% Louisiana - 25.8% Tennessee - 25.6% Michigan, Texas, Kentucky - 25.3% Indiana - 25.3% South Carolina - 25.1% 8 least-likely candidate states for weight loss surgery Colorado has the least - 16.4% (about 1 in 6) Massachusetts Rhode Island Connecticut Vermont Montana Utah New Hampshire Looks like the South, or warmer states got more weight issues??

It's all that "comfort food" and sweet tea

Yep!! My Grandson lives in Bentonville, AR and worked for McDonald's when they first came out with the Sweet Tea!! He came down to visit and helped his daddy in the Goilden Corral in Pigeon Forge, TN a couple of days.................. He siad, "Man, Grandma............we get very little calls for Sweet Tea in AR.....but EVERYBODY drinks it in Tennessee!! LOL I said.............. Honey, this is the SOUTH!!

Hi Sis, Where does California come in???? I know a lot of obese people here in California. The East Coast friends live a slower lifestyle then here in the West Coast. They drive like maniacs and everyone is in a hurry here. I went to visit my brother in Texas and I came back so relaxed because no one is in a hurry. It was really nice! I miss you sis. This chart thing didn't tell........so I am guessing somewhere in between. It did say that in the UK, that total obesity is between 17% and 21%....they don't have this great American love of food, evidently.................maybe there is something to having Tea time!! LOL And, I will!!..............love.....me

I wish we lived close enough to have tea time together. How are you doing now that you are back with your little furry babies? Are you finally getting some rest? I went home from work last night, went in my room and thought I would lay down for a minute and that was the end of me. I got up long enough to get my night gown on and wash my face and brush my teeth. My husband said why are you in bed? I said because that's where my body is telling me I need to be. Today I feel better but still tired by the end of the day. When are you coming to visit your sister? I have a spare bedroom with your name on it so you have a place to stay with me sis. Hugs, Esther
