I'M BACK, SORRY SO LATE

HELLO EVERYONE, I'M SO SORRY FOR NOT LETTING YOU ALL KNOW HOW MY SURGERY WENT ON MAY 8th. I JUST LOST TRACK OF TIME AND RECOUPING. I ONLY HAD 2 PROBLEMS WITH MY RNY LAPERSCOPIC SURGERY. THE FIRST WAS, I WAS IN SURGERY FOR 3 HOURS INSTEAD OF 1 AND A HALF HOUR, BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T GET ME TO SLEEP. SECOND, I HAD A 10 DAY SITE INFECTION ON MY BIGGEST INCESSION. HOWEVER IT WAS WELL WORTH IT AND THERE ARE NO REGRETS. MY 2 WEEK POST-OP WENT WELL WITH ME LOSING 41 POUNDS, AND INCESSION ALMOST ALL CLEARED UP. JOHN

So great to hear that things are finally going well for you. It's nice to hear that people do not regret such a big change. With my surgery 1 day, I am getting nervous and thinking if I made the right choice for me and whatnot. Best of luck in the future!

John, good to hear you are OK and doing so well! I am hoping my husband will make the decision to go forward with WLS, too. I was scheduled for this Tues but some complications came up needing it to be delayed. Keep us posted on how you are doing!!! Take care, Jean

Hi John, So glad to hear you are doing so well. My surgery was May 7th and I agree with you....it was well worth it. I have lost 36 pounds but men lose a lot faster then women. I feel wonderful and hope the weight keeps coming off. Keep us posted on your mending. It's fun being on the loser's side huh? Hugs, Esther

John, I'm so glad to hear that all went well with you. I was thinking about you on several occasions. I'm happy to hear about your 41 pound reduction already....way to go. Keep up the good work and we'll watch as you melt away before our very eyes. John
