Surgery May 22

Hey Guys! I am new to posting on this board. I normally post on my hospital's OH page. However since I am home I thought I should connect with people having surgery close to me. I am home and doing great. I just had some questions about foods and thought maybe some of you knew. I am curious to see if anyone knows post op if you can have pimento cheese right after surgery. I know we can have cheese and the pimento cheese has no sugar but just was curious. Also to all the recent post-opers what are some of the foods you are eating and how have you tolerated them. I am not hungary but am eating regular meals to help get my protein in and all other nutrients. I just dont' want to get bored eating the same things with what little I do eat. I don't live near you but we used to go to Navarre every year when I was a kid! I love that place. I've wanted to go back but haven't been able to find the place where we used to stay. (I think it closed after the hurricanes.) Hope you are doing great after your surg! I don't know about the pimento cheese. I've never heard anyone mention it. Maybe do a OH search for it? Melanie g.
