Surgery on the 30th!

Just found out 2 weeks ago. It has been a very busy time. Maybe that is good; less time to fret! I still need to fill out a living will. Would like to write some lovey notes to my hubby and kiddos; just in case. I am expecting a + outcome though! Say a prayer for me that there will be NO leak, and NO blood clots! Melanie g.

Congrats! May 30th is my day too! Only 4 more days! Do you have to be on a liquid diet too? I have to be on a 10-day pre-op liquid diet and it's getting tough. I'm so bored and am SICK of Carnation Instant Breakfast! I will be happy to never see it again after this is over. (((Hugs))) Michelle

Strangely enough NO liquid diet! Just NPO after midnight the night before. (So I could theoretically eat until midnight Tuesday night~!) I'm having the RNY also. I will probably do liquids Tuesday anyway. I have had gut surgery before and I would like my intestines more cleared out. 4 more days! OMG!!! Melanie g.

Just wanted to say "Howdy" from Colorado; I'm on for the 30th too! I will be having a 3-yr-old lapband removed, and converting to the simplified gastric bypass (code for mini-bypass!) My thoughts are with you all! Yours, Nancy

Same with me I just got noticed last week and mine is on the 29th tomorrow, I also have to fill out the living will. The only thing is I didn't get it notarized, I hope they have a notary where I'm going (Barix). Good luck in your journey. Deb
