Surgery on the 29th

Hi all.... just wanted to ask that you keep me in mind on the 29th. I will be having RNY surgery at Emory Crawford Long. I am excited and scared too! The waiting is the worst part!!! Beth

Congrats! We are surgery sisters! I'll be having my RNY the same day. The waiting is looooooong, but I'm ready. Don't worry- soon we'll be off and running!! Hope everything goes well for you! Kathy

I just look forward to climbing the stairs without being out of breath.... I have a list of things that I want to do... Six Flags is definitely one of them!!!! All the best to you on our big day..... Beth

Thanks so much for the thoughts Betsy... I read your post and know that I can relate to the lack of family support, but my friends are the best!!! I am so grateful for them, and to me, they are my family. I hope that you are doing well post surgery.

Good luck, Beth! I'm on the 29th too so we are surgery siblings. Not much waiting left, though. Before you know it we will be having reunions here and be half the people we used to be. -- T.Rob

I can not wait for that! It is exciting..... Just talked with the Dr.'s office and I am the first RNY, but the third case at 0900. What time are you scheduled???? I hope to add pics soon of my son and I..... and then less of me!!!! Your pics are great! I love the animals, and the baby too of course... Best of luck to you as well. Beth

I am at 0800 or 0730. They originally told me to be in at 0600, then called back and scheduled a half hour earlier. I was going to tell them they were crazy but then decided I was going to sleep through it anyway so what the hell. If the doctor can drag his butt in there at that hour, so can I! I am also on the 29th. I was the 28th but got rescheduled. I can not wait to be on the loser bench. I had no idea I had so many surgery sisters. I still need to take my before picture for my site....but I am putting it off as far as possible. I am praying for all of us!!!! ~~~Roxy
