Surgery Date Changed!!!!!!

I received a call from my doctors office this morning telling me my surgery that was scheduled on May 28th had been cancelled. Let me tell you I had a nervous breakdown in the middle of work. They explained that my insurance was no longer approving the hospital I was scheduled at. This had just changed in the past week, therefore my doctors office would have had no idea. It just so happen that the lady at the office called to verify another patients info when she found out. Long story short my doctor is rearranging his whole schedule to do my surgery on May 29th at 7:30 am at a hospital that is on my insurance. Can you believe it he is AWESOME. He does surgery on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday....and he is going to reschedule a few patients thst he would have seen Tuesday morning to get my surgery done!!!! I swear I love this man at this point!!!!!! He is my ANGEL..... Well keep me in your prayers that nothing goes wrong. ~~~~Roxy

Hang in there Roxy. My surgeon's office pulled the reschedule phone call on Mother's Day!!!!! I was in tears the entire day. So, instead of surgery tomorrow my day is Friday. Honestly May 29th is a FABULOUS day!!! It's my birthday. Your doctor sounds like he's incredible. You lucked out!!!!! Take that extra time to take some time for you. Hey Roxy So yours is the space I got bumped into for Monday morning. Sorry to hear that your surgery got postponed, at least it was only for just one day. Dr Barker is awesome in scheduling you because I think he wont be operating in June... vacation maybe? Anywhooo glad to see you are getting yours on Tuesday... How are you doing on the liquid diet?
