The sheer madness of it all- the thread for preop insanity

My surgery is next Wednesday and I am just full of I was on this site all freaking morning at work. At 2:30 I told my boss I was no good and bailed. She was supportive because she had RNY a few years back and has been in my corner the whole time. I posted on my blog about my lil *adventure* last night, so that had me freaked out as well. I was texting with my other friend (CB) all morning about my *indiscretion* which is a load of bullcrap because he and I aren't much more. Arrrgh! I got my hair done but lied to my hairdresser about what was going on in my life (my mom's coming up here for the surgery and I said it was for a post-Mother's Day break and we were going to Disneyland, etc.) because she's a total itch and has made numerous anti-sugery comments in general. She also asks too many questions. I have all my protein drinks and supplements on my counter, looking at me. I decided to get a Brazilian bikini wax tomorrow for the first time. I'M LIVING IN MADNESS!!!!!

Erika, just breathe baby. lol It's none of your nosey hairdresser's biz why you're getting gorgeous. We are allowed to do things just for us. Everything's gonna be just fine. My surgery is next Friday and my hubby's laughing because I'm more calm, cool and collected than usual. I've got some jello in the cabinet, some protein mix in the cabinet, some things on order but it's business as usual. My hairdresser/best friend had back surgery and she's doing really bad so I'll have to color this mess myself for the first time in.....I don't know how long. And, ponytail holders are my friends. LOL If it keeps up "Locks of Love" is gonna get a BIG donation. Just hang in there and don't dwell on it 24 hours a day. If you do your blood pressure is gonna be all crazy and you sure don't need that. After your surgery you'll come on here and wonder what all the isanity was about. Hang in there hon! I'm actually calmer and more excited today. I got all (I think) of my jello and sugar free Crystal Light today. I already had all of my protein powders so now I just have to get a few more ingredients for homemade broths and stocks. I'm just ready to get it done.. I know when it's all over, I am gonna wonder what all the insanity was about- you're right. But hey, it wouldn't be me if I wasn't obsessing about everything. This is our week!!!!
