2-week post-op appointment!

And they took my staples out!!!!!!!!!!! So happy to see them go, they were driving me nuts, very itchy and red. I was thisclose to taking them out myself! All I have left now is this glue they put over the incisions just in case. My surgeon also weighed me today and I was surprised to see that I jumped almost 3lbs since last Tuesday. Could be because I was wearing jeans, could be because I suck at protein. I just can't stand protein shakes right now...but I really need to start those up asap! Aside from that I am doing really well and go back for blood work in July!

Hey Chantal, I was having a lot of trouble drinking the protein shakes. I finally found one that I really like. Nitro tech ready to drink and you can get it at gnc. Glad to hear that the staples are gone. Kelly

Glad to here your appt went well. I feel blessed that I don't have any staples or stitches on the out side..just glue then tape. I don't have any appts until 3 weeks post op..Don't be to upset about the 3 lbs everyone holds weight and water differently. It will happen. I know how you feel about the protein because I Feel the same way. I'm happy that my dr said not to worry about that stuff just to get my water in for the first week or so..so that's what I'm doing. Keep us posted..haven't seen you around much but I haven't been around much either. Hope your spirits are good! Rebecca
