I'm home... :)

Hello all I have missed you guys! I did well as I"m sure Jamie told you..She did a great job as my angel and I got to talk to her a few times everyday. I feel very tired and am very sore. Food is already a challenge. I feel very lost when they would bring me my food tray. Alright that's all for now..I'll post more later..must go rest now..Thank you all for your kind words and all the prayers. It worked like a champ. Hugs Rebecca

No that is the problem..I don't feel hungry or full, I'm starting to believe I don't have a stomach in there lol..they would bring me my food tray and I know all the "Rules" but its so hard to judge how much and stuff with liquids. They only bring 3 trays a day and I had to eat 6 times..It was just strange and even now I'm not wanting to eat. I make myself eat a little something. I hope I get this figured out soon! Hi Rebecca, I'm home from my surgery on Wednesday as well. I also feel overwhelmed by food and drink. I have no taste for either. It is like they just removed my whole stomach. I am trying hard to get fluids in, but nothing appeals to me. I am also sore. I feel good for several hours, then I nap for several more. And I'm carrying around 9 extra pounds from the IV fluids - yuck. Take care and keep in touch. -Susan
