Lap band after RNY?

Hi, I wanted to see if anyone has had or knows of anyone who has gotten a lap band after having a RNY bypass? I had my RNY in 2002. I was 249 and I got down to 119. I recently got back up to 170!!! I know why, I never really changed my eating habits etc....but I heard of someone on this site who had the lap band after her RNY (years later) in order to get her pouch back down to a smaller size. She has gotten back down to the weight she wants to be and is doing great! Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

hi yes they can but you will have to pay for it on your own. insurance only wants to pay for 1 surgrery good luck
