Lap Band Monday..Any one else?

Hi everyone, Monday is my day. I can't believe it is here so soon. I start my liquid diet Sunday so Saturday my daughter (age 15) her best friend and myself are going to Six Flags in Atlanta and stay all day. One last fun day before surgery. Keep me and all May 14th'ers in your prayers. I'm getting nervous Tammy C.

I will be on the "Band" wagon with you Monday. I am growing anxious as the days go by. I will cook for my family Saturday (the day before Mother's Day) so that "they" will have a good meal as they celebrate Me while I drink clear liquids all day. haha It is worth it though. I will definitely keep you in my prayers. Enjoy your outing w/your loved ones this weekend!

Hey that's great to hear someone else will get to enjoy clear liquids on Mother's Day. We are fairly close neighbors. I live in Tuscumbia, Alabama. What time is your surgery? Dont worried,I had it 14 dyas ago wasnt bad at all, the thing is they don't put any solution till the first month, so you will be hungry I have 2 more weeks for my first fill.Good luck tp you

I will be having RNY on monday also. I am very nervous and very excited. Have an uneventful surgery and we'll meet again on the losers bench. Lauri

Hello: Monday is my day also. I'm just hoping that I don't experience any side effects. I'm having mine in Mexico, but my friend had hers on March 13th and has done great. So good luck and great results to all. Lucy

Hello there, I am not having lap band, but I am having lap RNY on Monday. Therefore I too will be on liquids on Mother's Day. I am planning on going out to lunch tomorrow for my Mother's Day lunch. I wish you the best of luck on Monday and I will see you on the loser's bench!!! Hugs, Michele

Tammy, congratulations on your surgery for Monday. I had mine on May 1st and actually just started eating 'real' food again this week.... Last couple of days have been an experience, felt hungry for the first time since surgery today. It was an odd feeling. I will say, it feels good to eat so little and not be hungry anymore... Best of Luck to a speedy recovery, and even though you will be having just liquids for Mothers Day..... Think of what NEXT years Mother's Day will be like.....
