Surgery tommorrow

I am leaving for Conway, SC today. I have my lap band sugery there tommorrow. I have to go for surgery at 7am. Conway is about 3 hours from my house so Im staying in a hotel tonight and tommorrow. Conway is near the beach so hopefully I will get to go to the beach my day before surgery. My fiance said he doesnt really want to go to the beach but I do. (its my day right?!) I am so hungery and so excited. I have one last day of the pre op diet. I will be glad to have yogart and soup next week. I mean who craves yogart and soup See how my topics somehow get around to food. Please wish me luck and good luck to you all.

Good luck to you! Mine is next Monday. Take it easy and rest afterward. Don't rush the food if you're not ready and ok'd for it! A healthier you starts tomorrow!!!!

Nicole, You will do great, take a walk on the beach before and after surgery... I had my lapband on the 1st and wasn't wanting anything to eat for the first week, the doctor has me on a blended diet now and I am doing good on that. It is funny, I never realized how 'little' we need to eat to survive. But, it is a great feeling, I really don't feel any different, just happier...
