What!!! Meatballs for breakfast

I'm passing a tip I learned here at OH from one of the boards in case you missed it. You may not be at this stage of weight loss yet, but the time will come. Sam's Club has a fantastic 2 pound package of chicken meatballs in their deli section (where all the cheeses are and usually next to the meats dept.). I'm preop yet and for breakfast I eat three of these meatballs (chopped up), 3 egg whites, and 1 oz of cheese. This works out to 30 grams of protein and keeps me FULL all morning. I don't know how much of that I'll be able to eat 3 months down the road, but I can assure you it will be a part of my regular diet if my tastes don't change too much. The meatballs taste more like italian sausage than meatballs. It's amazing what can be done with the right spices. Good luck to all this month. John

Hey John, Thanks for the tip. I haven't gotten them yet but I have been eating 2-3 oz. of grilled chicken breast without skin, 1 oz of fat free mozz. cheese melted over and 1 tsp of fat free spaghetti sauce for breakfast. That fills me up also. The spaghetti sauce has some carbs and I am not 100% on the nutritional content but if you want to mix it up it's yummy!!! Till chat next time, Jamie
