Trying to keep busy....

OMG, OMG, OMG... I am hardly sleeping (4 hours the past two nights)... I am so nervous, excited, scared, happy... ARGH!! Yesterday I weeded the front and back yard (it is a HUGE job), walked with the kids to the mall for a treat for them, played a bit of tennis (well, ball retrieval more like) with them, then was wiped and just sat and talked to neighbours, friends etc for the rest of the afternoon outside enjoying the day... and now I'M SUN BURNT bad! OUCH!!!! That will teach me, lol! Oh, and played a game of bocce ball too! I found muscles I did not know I have - can you say Rub A5-35??? Today the boys have T-ball at 9, and then Louis has his first baseball game late afternoon... I will be at work tomorrow. And then the ride begins!!!

I was the SAME way in the days leading up to the wedding. I had my exams up until the Saturday before surgery, so I basically had 2 days to get everything together. Just make sure you organize everything to make it as easy as possible for you when you get home. I cleared a kitchen cabinet and put all my WLS stuff in it...just to make it easy to reach and wouldn't drive my family crazy Hang in there Erin, it'll be here before you know it!

Erin, I am having the same problem. All I think about is the surgery and can't sleep. I have been up since six am organizing my house and stuff. Trying to get all my laundry done too, which never seems to end.......lol. I am trying to be patient, but it is soooo hard!! Good Luck, ~~Betsy

I have been the same way. Getting everything at home in order. I feel like my whole life is revolving around this. I am not a very patient person. I just can't wait to start my new life! Hope your surgery went well Betsy!!! Mary
