10 day liquid diet...

When I went in for my final vist with the surgeon on 5/3 he put me on a liquid diet until surgery. I am on Carnation Instant Breakfast no sugar added for all meals. The first couple of days were rough, but its getting better. Like everyone else said, its to shrink the liver. But actually I think its good for me mentally also. Getting used to not having the solid foods in our system for awhile. 8 more days for me, I am so excited! Best of luck to you!!! Mary

Thanks for responding to my post, Mary! I agree w/ the preparing mentally. I have cut out a lot of fats...really miss the half & half in my coffee I have also cut out a lot of soda pop & have been drinkking more water or Crystal Lite. Sending positive energy your way from NY.
