I am home!
I am so glad to here that everything went will, sorry about the breathing tube. After reading about what you went through I had to call me Dr office to see if I will be awake or sleep when this happens. I am so happy to find out that they will do this when I am sleep. I havn't made it to the loser side but save a seat for me my date is May 15th.

Hey GIRL,

Thanks guys!
About the breathing tube, my friend from support group who had the surgery 4 weeks ago insisted that the breathing tube be put in after she was out, and that's what they did. I told them that I wasn't comfortable with the idea but they said that I wouldn't feel pain...and even after throwing up, they still insisted on putting it in. It really was THAT bad. I wish I has insisted more on waiting.
But today, it's scary how great I feel. It's almost as if nothing's happened. Head hunger definitely sucks. I feel full, but it's going to be hard for my mind to catch up to my body.
I can't wait to be called a loser!! Congratulations!
The breathing tube thing just sounds REALLY weird to me. But, hopefully that is the worst part of your journey and when you reach goal, it will all be worth it. And I appreciate you telling us about it because you reminded me just how important it is that we be our own best advocates sometimes. I will keep that in mind if I ever have any problems or concerns with any of my doctors.
Welcome home!!!! It's funny but I specifically asked about the breathing tubes and things today at my pre-op class. Thank goodness my surgeon does everything after you're out. I can stomach a lot of things but that stuff......no way. I'm so happy you're doing so well!!!!!! Woo hoo, you're a LOSER!!!!!

Hey Chantal!!!
I'm so glad you are home and everything went well (minus the breathing tube) blah. I posted on your Matrix cookies and creme post and asked how you were, I guess I didn't look down on the posts far enough. I hope all is well and continues that way...need anything you have to holler, less than 2 weeks for me!!! I can't wait.
