Hi Friends, I went to see my Doctor today for my Pre-op appointment and he said he is going to try and do my RNY Laproscopically.... I hope it works because I will have a much quicker recovery. Karen House is flying to Mexico tomorrow morning for her surgery. Keep her in your prayers. Thanks to all of your for your support through all my complaining about being scared and nervous. Hi Betsy, You are sooo sweet. If we weren't having surgery the same day, we could be each other's angels. I already consider you my angel because you are always there for me when I need you. Thank you so much. We will be fine. For some weird reason, after my Doctor's visit, I have a peaceful feeling and I know everything is going to be fine. So don't worry Betsy, you are going to be fine. We will have to report to each other on our progress since we are doing this together at the same time. Woohoo Esther! You're gonna do great. My surgeon doesn't do the RNY via Lap. But, I figure what's another scar? LOL Whatever route your surgeon takes you're gonna do great! It's so natural to be scared and nervous. I had my endoscopy yesterday and my surgeon, who is just a sweetie, said "so, we ready?" I said "yeah, cause there's a bottle of water with my mom that's got my name on it!". The nurse in the waiting area with me had her RNY 4 months ago using my surgeon. She said they all LOVE him. She wheeled me in and he says "yup, this is the one who wants her RNY done outpatient!". They just laughed. But, it's funny. Though I still have 3 weeks I'm not nervous at all. I guess I'm more excited than anything! Just think how great we're gonna look by the time school starts back up (September for us). I can't wait!!!!!!!
