Good Protein Suggestions?

Hi everyone So my NUT told me that I have the wrong protein. Now I'm on the hunt for a new one. Anyone tried anything good? Also- where are you shopping for them? I can't seem to find any store with a good selection. Thanks!! Kathy L.

Personally I prefer Steak, and peanut butter, but guess taht wasn't what you were wondering!! LOL I use a good basic protein base and add a whey protein that I got at the healthfood store!! You can add flavorins...............vanilla, maple, coconut..etc.. ..Karen

I've already told you about my find (Whey Gourmet) but about where to find it...GNC has all sorts of stuff, but I rely on suggestions from board members and just buy everything online, it's cheaper and you can get anything.

Hi Chantal, Thanks for the website. I just ordered Whey Gormet, Strawberry Banana Smoothy....have you tried that flavor? I love Strawberry Banana smoothies so I am hoping it is close. The Protein Drink I have now I bought at Sam's Club and it is Vanilla and bearable but I would love a Protein Drink that I really enjoy. Thanks again, Esther

I haven't really tried any yet, but I did buy some. I have samples of unjury I got online. I also went to GNC and bought some Isopure. I'll let you know how they are. They came recommended, so I am hoping they are good. ~~Betsy

They were out of a couple that I requested but they had alot I thought and the price has been unbeatable. I don't know yet what brand I want to stick with though. I really don't want the milky stuff, I want the juicy kinda stuff. Not having much luck finding it. Terri

Thanks for the website- I ordered some samples this morning. I really thought I would want the milky kind...something chocolate...but it really depends on the brand. Some of them have that really strong protein smell to them and I just can't bear the thought of that smell twice a day. So I'm still searching around. If you like the fruity stuff, you should try Nectar- it comes in all kinds of fruity flavors. I tried the lemonade last night and it was pretty good. Thanks again for your help! Kathy

I just got some Nectar--Roadside Lemonade in the mail today.....I tired it...and could not stand to drink it. It smells horrible to me. I hope this isn't just a glimpse of what's to come. I really want to find some things BEFORE surgery that I can tolerate. I don't want to be stuck after surgery without enough protein because I can't find anything I like. The nectar stuff doesn't TASTE half bad...but the smell is so gross that I can't drink it. I even tried mixing it with SF kool-aid and putting it in a water bottle with a squirt top so I couldn't smell it...and I still couldn't do it. =( Just wanted to give my opinion. I also got some New Whey bullets---I'll update once I've tried them. Courtney
