Gallstones, an operation in an operation......
Hello,
I had all of my pre-op testing done on Thursday, everything looks pretty good with exception of my gall bladder ultrasound. I have gall stones...so I am guessing they will yank out my gall bladder when they do surgery. I see my surgeon on Monday. But...having this weird sensation in my upper right rib cage area. It's like a fluttering feeling. Happens a few times a day normally if I am lifting or moving something fairly heavy. Not sure what the heck it is and not sure if I should say anything to the surgeon for fear he'll send me for more tests and delay my WLS date of May 16th. Anyone else having weird fluttering or have/or have had to get their gall bladder out? I was a first year medical student and we didn't get to "weird fluttering" feelings in the body. I figured something was up with my gall bladder because I have to use the restroom very quickly after injesting fried and starchy foods. I don't know how a hernia feels...just stumped. It isn't painful or anything but very odd. For instance today, I was sliding a closet door and it started doing it. The heart is on the other side of the body so it wouldn't flutter on the right side. Anyway...if you have advice let me know. Thanks!!
