Well I just finished my last meal

I had a mini-meltdown at the end of it all too. These next 2 weeks are going to be tough!

Hi Chantal, well, I had my last meal tonight also... We can all do this together. Just think, instead of thinking of it as your last meal, think of it as you just finished living to eat, and deciding to eat to live. This will probably be a rough couple of weeks for both of us, just remember there are a lot of people in our corner...

Hi I will start the liquid diet next Monday, my friend Michelle started yesterday. We do fine when you feel like eating get you a glass of water or Crystal Light and come to the board and chat your way through it. That is what my plans are.

wow I'll say a prayer for you. I'm sure you will do great. I'm not looking forward to giving up my food either. I know its going to be tough but just think of your new you! did they tell you why you they do a liquid diet? I have my guess but ever really asked. Also when you said liquid what does that mean? you can laugh at me now I am Thanks and good luck..we will all be here right with you. Rebecca

lol Rebecca, I didn't laugh! My doctor recommends a liquid diet in order to shrink the liver to make it easier for him to work inside my stomach. I've heard of people having to have an open operation as opposed to lap. because their liver was in the way. I think it'll also prepare me somewhat for what is to come. I made my first Optifast shake this morning and boy is it ! I put it some coffee and SF chocolate syrup too. I can't even fini**** And I weighed myself this morning....highest weight I will EVER be, and I can say that for real now! Thanks for the support guys. Between having this surgery in a couple of weeks and having all my school finals in the next 2 weeks, I am losing my mind!

*hugs* Having school finals in the middle of all this must be just to much. I can't imagine. sorry that shake was so bad. I can't bring myself to try a protein drin****il I have to LOL. I have heard they are nasty by my brothers who drink them to bulk up. Thank you for answering my question. GL and keep us posted. Rebecca
