Hello everybody I am going to have WLS on May 7th

I have been trying for years, but acually got put on disability at the end of 2005 and got insurance through that in 2006 now I will be able to have surgery have been going through the process since July of 2006 and finally got a date. I am so excited

I am having Lap RNY. I am so excited, I am glad to meet you. Where did you have you having your surgery or where did you have it at? I am having it at Ochsner's in New Orleans. I live on the Northshore in Abita Springs. Thank you for being so nice.

Congratulations on getting your date after all this time! Keep us posted as you make your journey. I've been here all of three days but I've found the group to be very warm and friendly with lots of good advice and support. I hope you like it here too!

Congrats to you!!! I'm the day after! May 8th! I began this process June 2005! I watched everyone's profiles and when they said that they had their surgeries, I knew one day I would be able to say I will have mine too! Thanks for sharing your story!

Congratulations Sabrina.... My surgery is May 7 and I am scared to death but excited at the same time. When is your surgery? We can all be strong together because we are all going through the same emotions right now as we count down the days. We will soon be "LOSERS"
