COUNTDOWN ON

HI MAY'STERS I AM IN COUNTDOWN MODE. 11 DAYS UNTIL 2 WEEK LIQUID DIET, AND 26 DAYS UNTIL SURGERY, ON TUESDAY MAY 8th. READY FOR SURGERY, BUT NERVIOUS ABOUT 2 WEEK LIQUID DIET. WE ONLY HAVE PRE-OP LABS AND SURGERY PRE-OP ON THE 23rd. WE IS, MY SISTER AND I ARE BOTH HAVING SURGERY ON THE 8th, AT THE SAME HOSPITAL. I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM SOME OTHER MAY'STERS, ANY OTHER MAY 8th SURGERIES? BEST OF LUCK AND WISHES TO ALL JOHN & BONNIE

Congratulation on your May 8 surgery date. Mine is May 7th and my pre-op with my doctor is May 1st and pre-admitting at the hospital is May 2nd. I am so excited but nervous at the same time. Having the surgery with your sister must be nice because you can help each other get through this. I have started my liquid diet already. My doctor has us start it 4 weeks before the surgery. It will be much easier when we have tiny stomachs. Soon we will be "LOSERS". Esther

I , too, am in countdown mode. I am scheduled for May 2nd. I start my liquid diet on Monday, see my dietician and do some of my pre-op testing on Monday as well. I have one final pre-op test on March 23rd, do all of my pre-admitting stuff on March 25th and then just wait a week for the surgery. So excited!!! Good luck to you!!!!
