Wanted to wish all of you upcoming WLSers good luck! It's the best thing you'll ever do for yourself. Be prepared to completely have your life changed within a matter of months. Remember VITAMINS, WATER and EXERCISE and take advantage of the early months to the FULLEST. I look forward to seeing and reading all of your success stories!!!

How much weight have you lost? You look great in your picture. I hope I look that good after I lose weight. I am scared but I know I am doing the right thing. How is the pain after the surgery? I will keep you posted on my progress. Thanks for the well wishes. Hugs, Esther

Hi Esther, I started at 272 and had surgery on May 10th 2006 in a TIGHT size 22. Today I weigh 149-151 (I'm 5'6) depending on the day and I'm between a size 4 and 6. I've not lost a single pound in two months!! Take advantage of the months that are early on!! I'm able to eat "Normal" size portions again however I work out religiounsly 6 days a week 2-3 hour sessions and have since 3 weeks out of surgery. This has helped tremendously with the weigh loss. Also, I don't need plastic surgery. Something to consider!! Good luck and god bless!! Megan
