Hello Everyone, just wanted to share my date too!

I've been a member of this site for over 4 years, so i've done ton's of research. But i've finally got to the point in my life where i could go through with this wonderful life changing surgery! I started my doctor supervised program over 7 months ago, finishing up in March. I lost 24.5 pounds just by cutting out ALOT of the junk i was eating. I however am struggling to keep it off..i gained back 2 or 3 of those pounds and then i lose them again. I have to keep most of it off or my surgery won't happen. Anywho...my surgery date is May 25th at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. I go in for PAT's on May 1st and then start my dreaded 2 week liquid diet on May 12th. Best of luck to each and everyone of us about to embark on this wild journey! May we all have painfree surgeries *yeah right* lol with no complications!! Robin

congratulations... I went through a 6 month supervised program with my doctor also with a loss of 20 pounds and struggling to keep that off also... You go, May 25th will be here sooner than you think and then you will have a wonderful new life ahead of you....
