My Date is may 7...I just want to say good luck!

Hi to all of you May pre-ops, I too am tentatively scheduled for May 4th. I have been wanting to do this for 10 years. Finally everything fell into place and here I go! All of you seem to have the exact same feelings as I do. All I do is think about surgery and what it will be like after. I'm worried about head hunger, nausea and a whole bunch of other things. But most of all I can't imagine what I will look like 150lbs lighter. Stay Strong!! Joni

Hello Krissy and all my fellow "mayt's" My surgery is scheduled for May 25th and i'm a bag of mixed emotions. I am finding it hard to keep my attention on any one thing right now as it always wants to wander off and day dream about what i'm going to look like and feel like after surgery. I too have wanted this for years but still question my decision when i'm alone. But like the other poster mentioned, when i get on this site and begin reading the profiles and posts and see all the wonderful positive people on here, i get back in the right frame of mind to have the surgery I want to wish us all the best of luck and may God Bless us and keep us safe on our journeys Robin

Hi everyone! First, Happy Easter!!!!! My surgery is scheduled for May 23rd. I don't have any emotions yet. This isn't the first major surgery I've had so it's just really not a biggie to me. lol Of course, that *may* change on May 23rd. I'm so happy I found OH. I have a bit of support here at home and out in cyberland, but it's much more special to have the folks here who are always so willing to discuss this incredible journey. * Cyndi *

I am READDDDDYYYY. I am scheduled for May 9th at 8:30 AM. Will any one else be at St V's Carmel in IN at that time? Just went to my preop class last week. Glad I did it early. Out of about 20 people in the class only about 5 were in May or beyond. A lot should be in the hopsital now or on their way. Way too stressful for me to wait until a week or 2 before my surgery to go to my pre- op class. One lady had not even stopped smoking yet which is a requirement at the hosptial I am going to. Just talked to my mom today- told her she can tell family if she wants- I don't think a lot know. I am excited but very nervous about following the diet. For those on who have to do a liquid diet what do you have to do - full iquids ike after surgery or what?

I thought I was ready for May, then today I found out that I have to really get ready because my date has been moved up! I am now going to join the losers bench on April 27th. WOW! Good Luck and Good Wishes to everyone in May

My surgery is May 7 and I am getting scared but I know it is the right thing to do. With the support of everyone we can do this!!! My prayers are with all of you, may we all come out of the surgery without any complications and may recovery be easy. We are soon to be "LOSERS". Love, Esther
