When are you going for PATs?

I just have to see my family doc April 25 for a mini-physical, the rest I think is done the day before or day of surgery -- will find out more on April 18th I guess when I go see my surgeon. I live in Canada but am going to Buffalo, New York for my RNY tentatively booked for May 8th!!!

Is PATs like pre-op testing and all that fun stuff? I went ast Thursday (the 22nd) and boy was I glad to go home at the end of the day. Ten hours I spent in the hospital/clinic How long of a drive is it the Buffalo from where you are Erin?

yep, that's exactly what they are! Buffalo is not that far, just about an hour and a half from me - the difficult thing is that I have to cross the border - so depending on the officer it can be easy or not... and also if there is a huge line or not, that can tack on the time to get there.

Oh ok, could be worse I guess. How long will you be staying there after your surgery?
