Hi Everyone, My surgery date is scheduled for May 4th. Am I the only one bubbling over with anticipation????

Definitely not! I've had my 100-day countdown going and I'm down to 41 I'm SUPER excited to get going!

Well, I meet with the vascular surgeon on tomorrow at MUSC. Because of my size, I have to have a filter installed (I feel like a car) into my neck or leg to prevent future blood clots. Also, I have to begin my liquid-fast in two weeks, prior to the surgery. But honestly, I will walk over a bed of fire to have this procedure done.

think of the filter as a safety bonus - it actually can save your life - you never know when you can throw a clot! Good luck! Erin
