Hi all - I have a May 11 date for Lap Band surgery! I live in Gilbert, AZ, but am having the surgery in Virginia. My surgeon is a long-time family friend and I just felt more comfortable going to him... Anyone else here getting a Lap Band??

Hi, my name is Schatzi, I live in Illinois. I too was finally just approved with my insurance last week. My surgery for lapband is scheduled for May 1st. I am a single mother of 4, the youngest being 16, also 2 grandchildren. I am hoping this next month will sail by... Good luck to everyone, with support like this I think it will be a breeze for all of us.

I'm Denise, will be the big 4-0 on May 31st. I live south of Boston, MA and I am having RNY with Dr. Tavakkoli at Brigham & Woman's in Boston on May 1st!!!
