i gained this week, i'm so bummed. I know that i let myself get carried away when my mother in law passed away but i did well this week. I'm going to start writing down what and when I eat so maybe i can tweak it a bit. I danced twice this week and love it. I'm so sore today. Holly just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. When you feel unnaturally warm in the hospital just know that's the angels delivering my hugs to you and that you should feel some calm after that. This time around will be completely different. I took that dance class in your honor last night and you danced hard my dear! It will be such fun watching you blossom on your knew knees! Can we call you that from here on out....newknees? I have been busy preparing for my next round of knee replacement surgery. I have been working hard to get my new knee in shape for the next round. I have done some serious emotional work to get over what happened before and I think that I am ready to go...
I will let you all know how it went when I get back.

This week? I must say it's been the worse week of my life....but I've lost 4lbs so thats good. Probably just stress...hopefully I can take advantage of it and build on it.

Hi everyone
How has your week gone? I've been working very hard at my weight loss this week - each evening I've reviewed my day - the good the bad and the ugly and tried to build on all of it, then made a plan for the next day. It's been working well and suits me.

I'm going down again. So I rewarded myself by going to a jewellry sale and bought myself 2 necklaces! Before wls I woudl have rewarded myself with food - not any more

I have that problem too - I would like for us all to sit down and eat togther. Ron doesn't finish work til late, so I give Millie her dinner early, or she is snacking on garbage like crazy. Now where do I fit in??? If I wait I TRY and have health snacks but to be honest am better if I just go ahead and eat with Millie. That way I'm not eating too late into the evening either. It's not ideal but it's what we have to live with right now. I ensure we all sit down and eat breakfast togther each day so that we have at least one meal togther as a family.
Thanks re the kitten - it's cute isn't it. It looks just like one of my kittens - Hunter, although he's got bigger now. I just need to get me a chick...

have i told you how much i enjoy the kitten and the chick? I can't wait to go dancing tonight. I haven't danced in ages. The kids are enjoying an early dinner and you know what, they are eating healthy and if they have a decent snack then perhaps we'll be eating early dinner more often. I like to wait until my husband gets home so we can all eat together. The challenge with that is that the kids don't eat until like 6:30pm and they are ravenous by then. The two youngest ones then eat garbage from when they get home until dinner and eat a meager meal! The oldest boy can eat like no tomorrow so he'll snack when he gets home, eat a huge dinner and then eat a snack before bed. ANDI

Good for you Andi. Sometimes, in my opinion, life needs to take precedent over losing weight. The main thing is that it was for a season and now you can focus on what you need to. It wont' take long to batle those carb cravings - most of them are in our heads becasue they just taste so darn good!!!
I know you can do it ~ enjo your dance class (Of course you will, this is Andi we are talking about!!) and get back into the groove.
