This one is difficult for me because I've been this person my whole life. I use humor to cover up a whole range of emotion that I'm ill prepared to deal with! I'd like to be able to tell someone they hurt my feelings instead of saying "it's alright" i mean what gives one person a right to hurt my feelings and why must i say it's ok. NO i was angry and hurt and I don't appreciate you making me feel that way. What i do after the "it's alright" is i go eat bad foods and that makes ME feel horrid and out of control. These are things i'm working on but it's not easy. ANDI

Hi Jean'Bean! How goes it, long time n o post how have you been? How's the new home and the new store and the new you doing? Why are you allowing other people to weigh in on your life...the only one who matters is Jean and what she thinks. I had a really tough time with this assignment as well, I'm still working on it. I have about 4 pounds that are being stubborn and i'm hoping to get them off so that I can get my body in "losing" mode again because that's what i want. Recipes for Days 1 & 2 The first two days are all liquids. You can have as many low-carb protein shakes as you like to satisfy hunger or cravings. In addition drink at least six 8-ounce glasses of water each day. The purpose of all liquids is to break any snacking, grazing or processed carbohydrate habits. In addition the liquids will work to cleanse your system and prepare you for the following three days. Try to reduce your caffeine intake as well, but do not stop caffeine cold turkey or you will feel sick and frustrated potentially losing the desire to continue with the pouch test. It is very important to drink a minimum of 64 ounces of water each day. This will prevent dehydration, will help curb cravings and will flush your body of toxins and fat. Sufficien****er intake improves kidney function and cell processes. If you notice symptoms of carbohydrate withdrawal you can eat a small piece of melon or an orange. You can also try a dose of Emergen-C which should reduce headache, dizziness or cramping from carbohydrate withdrawal.

I am thinking that this would be good for me too. Monday eh? I have been eating terribly, my appetite has been really bad with all the knee pain and I have been eating whatever seems tasty and it is all been bad stuff. I have lost weight but am starting to gain it back again... so maybe a pouch test is in order after all. So I guess, if you 'all are doing this, there is strength in numbers, so count me in. Holly

the only time that has happened to me was after i had 8 oreo cookies. I can have 7 and be fine, but for some reason, 8 is the majic number and i go into a sugar coma, I sweat like a pig, lay down on the floor, wake up 3 hours later and feel fine.

I am a mess right now. what was working for 2 years is simply not working anymore. not that I am getting into the contraband. but that I am dumping on stuff that I should not have a problem with. so now I have to completely restart. no more cream of wheat, no more chicken.. very strange but I do not think that my calories are in sync either. I know that I am dehydrated, I need a hard reboot
