I've been reading on the grads board that some people get more sensitive a few years out and begin to dump again (or in different ways) or that they develop reactive hypoglycemia (sp?). Maybe this is what's happened to you?

I thought it would be easier to follow too, I may try and get hold of some test strips so I know if I'm in ketosis or not. Here's to Monday

I was considering the pouch test... I reviewed the website.. I am not sure what is going on with my tummy, if it needs to be reset or what. I know that I do not eat what I should. but then again, I do eat less than most that are May Babies. so my volume is fine. maybe even less than most. as for stretched, there is no risk of that. I do not think that I need the liquids to solids transition... I most likely need to break the mint habit. I am sucking them down, well, like mints. ;) it is a breath thing from the high protein / low carb diet and ketone release. not to mention all the coffee that I am sucking down. I am not sure what is up with all the dumping lately. I am still protein based, and I can dump on milk and cheerios (last night) and cream of wheat (two days ago) and yesterday, I dumped on a hard boiled egg before I even got my first cup of coffee. and you know that a hard boiled egg has no sugar in it. (dumped so bad that I passed out on the couch for 3 hours and 45 minutes). this morning I had two scrambled eggs and was fine. so as for 'contribution' I guess I was just whining. I thought about it. I think that there is something different with my pouch, but I do not think that the 5 day would fix it. I think that I will just have to do a 5 day diet recall and figure out what is it that is causing my blood sugar to shoot up or down randomly.

this might be what i'm starting on Monday as opposed to the 5 day pouch test. I have to chew stuff or i'm going to get crazy. Seems pretty easy if i'm reading it right. I printed it out so that I can make the magic work. ANDI

ok so are you doing the pouch test with us or are you just making a general statement about your current situation? We'd love to have you on board if you are interested in joining us and have something positive to add to our journey through the pouch test. ANDI ps. i'm sorry you're not feeling well is there something you've eaten or a stomach bug getting you?

Hi Andi I do the exact same thing, except now I seem to lose weight. I always try and smooth things over... (I was never like that before)... but the fight is not worth it sometimes.. so I just say "it's alright"....My husband calls me anorexic and stuff now that I am so small... (I actually eat all day long) I could eat 3/4 of a big and tasty and some fries and lose 2 lbs the next day)... weird...(before I could just think about McDonalds and gain 5 lbs) we are still moving, we rented a house in Charlotte and have the one in Fl on the market. I had part of a smaller store after I closed the big one and this week I am closing it... I won't have the time to open another one for about 6 mth..(with all the moving and getting Hunter into school and stuff).. I will just work on my web site
