Ok I am going to implement a southern saying here * Bless Your Heart * I don't know what I would do without my coffee!
Topic: Weekly Weigh In
It's that time of the week again! How has your week gone - good I hope
Grrrr...for me, I've stayed the same as I have been for months now - up and down the same few pounds...sigh...at least I know the pattern by now. It'll get moving eventually and then I'll drop a load all together.
Hope you are doing better than me...

I love it but my stomach doesn't. Had my first cup in several months this past Sunday and remembered why I don't drink it prior to going to work.

the Modified Louetta Blend is a Chocolate Kahlua (50/50) caf / decaf blend that I only buy in 1 lb increments, and store in an airtight Tupperware in the freezer and then take out 5 seconds before grinding. I scoop out 4 scoops, and then return immediately to the freezer
I grind it on expresso and when that is done, I knock all the grains down and grind it again on drip, to get the perfect powdered sugar consistency
I pop in a two filters into lifetime filter and scrap all the grounds into the filter and pour 24 oz of reverse osmosis water in for my one cup.
while it is brewing, in the32 oz cup I put 1 tsp of Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, 1.5 heaping tsp of splenda, and 2 oz of organic valley 1/2 and 1/2
this is consumed in peace and quiet over 1/2 hour and there is no blood shed.

I get a non-fat latte every day at Starbucks. It is 13G of protein that I would not get otherwise.
Starbucks has 3-4 different sugar free syrups that are pretty tasty if you are into them, I just like the taste of coffee. If you have kids, they have a $1 drink for them, hot chocolate, steamed milk, apple juice regular milk... just ask for kids size and it is like their small size. It makes up for the cost of the latte when I take the kids

Ohhhh...I sometimes try the water logging before I eat - to fill up in an effort to eat less. It does work when I remember to do it.

Hey Ruth, I haven't tried the Starbucks!! I have heard it can be expensive and just didn't want to go there!! But where I live there is one on almost every corner!! Maybe I will break down and try it as a treat!
I think people have different opinions on whether coffee & tea count as your intake! I would have to say if it is decaf then yes "I" would count it! But if it caffinated we should drink a matching amount of water to flu**** out as caffine will dehydrate us.
Unfortunately for me my coffee is caffinated! But the tea I make at home is decaf. If I go out to eat and order my tea to go I always assume it has caffine and try to drink some water also.
