yes, you can shrink it back some, and I don't eat bread much so have never tried the hot dog bun thing, but I can eat a soft chicken taco with most (not all of the shell from taco bell)... I would be addicted to soda again...LOL but it makes me feel so bloated....

your stomach should be the size of your fist right now.
you 'should' be able to eat about a 1 cup container of food.
I can put away 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 1/2 cup of canned fruit or 1 medium granny smith apple.
for instance, today I had a single serving of cream of wheat (3 table spoons dry mixed with 1 cup of water and boiled and then I added 1/2 a cup of milk and 1 tsp of splenda and 1/2 tsp of butter and that was my breakfast
I can eat about 2 -3 oz of cooked chicken, honestly have not calibrated my pouch in ages but plan to since I have gained 7 lbs in the last 3 months.
just remember some food is slider food and it just slides right through, like cream of wheat and cottage cheese, other food is mushable food like salad and cooked vegetables and you can get a buttload more down before you 'feel' the stretch
then there is the food that refuses to smoosh, chicken/steak/pork and that is my 'calibrator' I need to do this this week as well to find out what is going on, am I eating too much or am I eating the wrong stuff to create the gain.
i do not think that it is the volume, but the content.

2 oz protein bar
6 chick-fil-a chicken nuggets
1 oz swig of oreo shake
8 oz starbucks frappachino iced coffee

Next Goal: lose 5 pounds, back down to my adjusted goal weight
I am bouncing and that sucks. okay, so I am at 150 which was my original goal weight before surgery but when I got down to 143 I adjusted my goal weight to 145 and bought all my clothes for that weight. well. they are starting to get a little snug, some are downright unpleasant but I think that was a washing machine error on my part.
now I want to get back to 145 not up here at 150 my 'high end' aunt flo weight when aunt flo is no where around.
I know what happened..
Doritoes, Reece's and extra large servings and extra snacks through the day. that adage if you take in more calories, your body will start loosing is a MYTH and not a good recommendation for me.
I can have a protein bar or food, but not both. ;) and those 330 super charge protein bars with 30 g of protein are not worth the 110 extra calories. blech
so one 150 cal 20 g protein bar a day is my limit.

I have to CLEAN my office today! it is insane!
I have to work in the morning, 75 miles away, also insane, but a good thing to get me 'motivated' to work
I agreed to a midnight showing of 'once more with feeling' (buffy the vampire slayer) with my husband as a date night. I do not know what I was thinking when I agreed
the rest of the weekend will be spent 'packing and sorting' and getting ready to move my daughter / grandson in with us and us to move to norway

It's Friday again - comes around fast when you're having fun
For me it's last minute preparation for back to school next week - I've got most things this year - usually I leave it all to the last minute, despite good intentions at the start of the summer break!!
Will try to do more decoratng of the bathroom - I have a tendancy to start things then not finish them
So a nice easy relaxed weekend for me, how about you?

Hi All
How has your week gone? I'm still playing around with the same numbers on the scale - It's a vicious circle for me - I'm eating fine and dandy, then the numbers get stuck so I start eating crap...so of course then the numbers get stuck!!! Grrrrr.... so this coming week I'm going to try and break the circle - plus I'm back to work after the summer break so will be back into routine again, which should help.
Anyway, here are my details:
Start Weight: 266
This Week: 169
Total Loss: 97
Next Goal: lose 3 pounds (166 - to have lost 100 pounds)
Next Goal: get to 154 - a normal bmi
I SO want to get into the century club, I've been knocking on the door for months now Patience is a virtue I guess - I'm NOT stopping til I get there
