YAY!!!!!!!!!!  Bella that's fantastic that you were able to say no to the cheesecake.  I'm don't seem to be able to stop eating lately.  I've got to get rid of the junk food that's around me.  I reach for that instead of having a proper meal, which while I know is not good, haven't stoped doing yet.

At least since wls I'm aware of everything I put in my mouth and don't have unconcious eating now.  All I need to do is make the right choices, why is it so hard sometimes?

Aghhhhh, the story of our lives, and one which we will probably stuggle with for the rest of our journeys.  BUT better to deal with that than never have wls in the first place.

See you again soon

Well, first of all I find myself "grazing" at work, so I got rid of all the crap around me I've been eating, hence the "sweet" tooth. I went shopping and bought the stuff I should be eating, so far its been 2 days and i'm doing good. I even feel thinner...  :). i was offered cheesecake with stawberries!!!!!!! I said "no, thank you"   CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? I think most of my problem is "mental", mentally i need to get on track. I gotta keep telling myself..."you feel so good right now, you DON'T want to go back there...NOTHING tastes as good as thin feels...right!

Good luck to you to girl...! I with ya....

Hi Bella

welcome to the club!!  Have a read through some recent posts and you'll see there are a couple of us around who are struggling with the same issues.  So don't think you are on your own here by any means.

Stick around, we'll help each other and get to where we want to go in the end.

Going back to where we came from IS NOT AN OPTION!!!!!!  So now is the time to start re-evaluating how you gained 10 pounds and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.  I know you can - you've got this far, you can stop the train and get off before that 10 becomes 20, 30, 40........

Start by tracking what you are eating.  I'm sure you know where you are going astray.  Start with small baby steps and build on success.  Come here often for support and you'll soon see those extra pounds dissappearing again.

Hey all...

I've gained 10 lbs.!!!!!! I'm so off track. gotta get back on this train...i seemed to have lost my mission here, i have to get back with the program. Cheating too much, for some reason, i've gotten a sweet tooth lately, which I never had before, my tastes have changes so much since surgery. I'm gettin scared, i don't want to go back there!!!!!

I need guidance!!!

Topic: Source of Inspiration
Looking for inspiration to eat right and make good choices?  Look back at our posts when we were first out.

I've just spent the past hour reading our posts from when we were newbies to two months (approx) after surgery, seeing what we were eating, portion sizes and exercise etc.

It's helped me think again about what I am eating, and, hopefully, I can put it into practice tomorrow.  Tonight I have decided to have a protein shake, then have some chicken for lunch tomorrow.  I think my protein is too low - I've not been counting it, and I know the carbs are high, even if the calories are in the right range.

So here goes for a(nother) new start!!!!!  I really want to get these last 15 pounds off to reach a normal bmi weight.

I am just maintaining too...hate that!  Pretty good week overall but what is it about Friday nights that makes me want to PARTY...like going out to dinner and stuff.

Plans to take spin class both day on the weekend so that's a positive.

Hi girlfriends

so how did your Thursday go?  Mine...weeeeeellllllllll, I started off real good, but it went down hill, due to such a cr*ppy day.  I wasn't hungry in the evening so ended up having some naan bread (Indian bread) with cheese melted on top.  Sigh, I had intended to have Greek yoghurt.

BUT, I got on the scales today (Friday) and haven't gained, which I was expecting, so I'm pleased.  SO I've obviously got maintenance down to a fine art!!!  Now I just need to cut out all the cr*p, without dropping too many calories and start losing again.

Looking forward to hearing from you
