How true and it is a real struggle sometimes to choose wisely...especially when it comes to some of the food and exercise choices. We had a family gathering. My brother had made my grandmother's famous (or infamous) peanut butter chocolate fudge. It is the absolute BEST!. Well, I had a piece...now this is good, cause pre WLS i would have eaten 6-8 pieces. It is sooooooo good. I made some really poor choices today, but I know that I cannot change those choices but can choose differently next hour. Cyndi

Although at times it is easier to feel powerless and out of control in cir****tances, I agree with this quote. We might not be able to change the circustances, but we ALWAYS have a choice, the choice of how we are going to react to our lives and all that happens in them, the choice to be victors or victims, the choice to use life experiences to the positive or the negative, the choice to build or tear down in our lives... The struggle is to try to choose wisely!

Because you are in control of your life. Don't ever forget that. You are what you are because of the conscious and subconscious choices you have made. Barbara Hall, A Summons to New Orleans, 2000

Good morning School starts tomorrow for my guys, so we are shining up our outfits and packing our supplies into our new backpacks today! I don't go back to school until I can figure out how to afford it again, so I am a bit sad about that, but it will be so awesome to get the boys back! I am also going to drink all my water, I have had a hard time lately and I think it has been showing. I got a new Nalgene bottle yesterday and plan on keeping it filled up...
